Serving @ Refuge
One of our core values at Refuge is ‘every-member ministry’. We believe that God has equipped each member of the body to be uniquely valuable to the work of the ministry. Each person is important to the church becoming who it is God has designed it to be. The act of serving is a critical part of every believers’ spiritual growth and the overall church experience. Through serving, you will discover more about yourself, God and others with whom you serve. You will have the opportunity to develop relationships with others more quickly and deeply than you could by just attending a service or event with them.
Our ministry involvement is centered around our weekly Sunday Services, small groups ministry and a variety of community involvement opportunities. God helps us learn more about Him as we are in the trenches working for Him. This is one reason we encourage people to get involved in a ministry. Often we learn different truths about God as we serve Him than we could any other way. One of the best things about serving together is the friendships that are formed. When we find people with similar gifting or abilities it creates a connection that allows fellowship to happen naturally. At Refuge Church, there is an ongoing effort to reach people through servant evangelism, community involvement, relational evangelism, mission’s projects and other activities. There are opportunities for people to serve in a variety of ways through the small groups ministry, Sunday Worship, and Missions. All of our ministry efforts and actions should be done as an act of worship to bring glory to Him.
Use the Form on this page to sign up for a ‘test drive’ within an existing ministry here at Refuge Church. This is an opportunity to try out a ministry and discover if it is where God would have you to serve for this season of ministry. Discover how God can use you if you simply make yourself available to Him!
