What to Expect

WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT?

At Refuge you will experience a genuine, sincere worship time in which ordinary people celebrate an extraordinary God. We enjoy a contemporary worship style led by our worship team. The sermons are designed to provide practical, helpful Biblical teaching that can be taken home and applied to real life situations. You can prepare for Sunday’s service by checking out the Refuge Facebook page or you can listen to past sermons here.

WHEN AND WHERE?

Currently, our worship services are at 10:30 am every Sunday. Our church meets at 220 N Massey Blvd, just behind Walgreens and McDonald’s in Nixa.

WHERE DO I GO WHEN I GET THERE?

Some of our members will be waiting to welcome you when you arrive and help you know where to go. We are always eager to help you find your way. If you have kids and would like for them to participate in the kids worship environments, you can enter the kids center foyer and they will be checked-in in order to provide security and safety for them as they participate. The worship center is just down the sidewalk from the kids center. We look forward to meeting you there. Also, stop by the hospitality table located in the foyer, there you can grab some coffee and breakfast before the service!

WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?

Refuge has an active ministry for children and we would love to have your kids visit with us! We plan age-appropriate activities and lessons that emphasize how God’s Word applies in real-life situations. Rest assured your child will feel safe, experience care, and sense compassion from teachers who love God and believe children are valued by Him.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

Whatever is comfortable. On Sunday, you will see everything from business casual to jeans. Our concern isn’t what’s on the outside, but what’s on the inside.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

After visiting our worship services, there are several ways to get involved:

  • Include your information on a communications card during the offering
  • Get involved in a small group
  • Get involved in a ministry
