New Here?

We are an active church in Nixa and have a desire to be a visible part of the community while seeking to meet people where they are. We meet weekly in worship services to celebrate and worship God and also meet throughout the week in small groups to learn more about Him and connect with one another. We highly value people and believe God has called us to reach out in a variety of ways in order to share the Gospel truth with them. We believe church isn’t just a Sunday thing. The church is people who live out the truth of God in their homes, communities, jobs and in relationships. Because of this perspective, we are an active church and have been from the very beginning. We are involved in missions, small groups and even learn how to worship God in a variety of ways.
We hope to meet you where you are. We aren’t perfect and aren’t looking for perfect people. We have a special place in our hearts for people who don’t understand the Bible, don’t know Jesus yet, and perhaps don’t even like “church” as they know it. We’re not afraid of big questions. We’re aware that sin is ugly, life is messy, and everybody has some hurts, habits, and hang-ups that Jesus wants to work on. (Pastor John Herring)
Our vision is to actively gather people together to encounter Jesus, engage in community, and impact our world while bringing glory to God. In this, we will be demonstrating and living out the truth of Christ in the community on a regular basis. At the same time we make opportunities to hang out and grow in our relationships with each other and with God. Additionally, we believe God created each of us to be uniquely valuable to Him and to the church, this is why we seek to involve everyone in ministry. Through all of this, we seek to worship God in everything we do.
We simply want to be a real group of people who worship a real God and desire to make a real difference in the lives of people and the community around us. If you have a desire to be a part of the beginnings of this brand new church, we would love to get to know you. (Pastor John Herring)
