Made to Work: Your Work, Your Mission
Series: Made to Work

It's natural to feel scared when we share out faith. We may be afraid that we'll say the wrong words, don't know the right scripture verses to say, or we'll give Christians a bad name. Realize all those fears are focused on YOU. God can still use the effort of someone who is less than perfect to make a difference. He isn’t calling us to be perfect. He is simply calling us to be the light of this world, to be His ambassadors, to be difference makers. He can use us if we will let him. Listen in as we explore how your work is your mission...

    Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: Greater!

It is the dream of every little boy and every little girl to be great at something. To be a great athlete, a great dancer, a great scientist – but to be great in some way that those in this world would be able to recognize them and see their value! Unfortunately most of those who dream of greatness as a kid quickly grow up and realize that the best thing they can do is merely survive each day.

We need to realize though that Jesus intended more for us than merely surviving in this world. He wants us to thrive. Listen in as we explore the subject of "Greater!"...

Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: Identity Theft
Many people in our nation have experienced the effects of "Identity Theft". In one way or another, someone has assumed their identity & made purchases or received privileges that they didn't deserve by using their name or person. It's so common in our culture that we've come to realize the fact that just because someone does something in my name, doesn’t mean that I’m actually involved in the transaction or even the process that is taking place. There are people that are regularly in churches across our nation though that are committing a form of identity theft each week & may not even truly realize it. Listen in as we explore the subject of "Identity Theft"...

Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: Our God is Good

Sometimes we get so caught up “Working for God”, that we can begin to think that we’re earning favor with God. We might think that God is looking down on us saying “Look what they just did... I love them that much more now...” We can even begin to focus more on works and rituals than we do on faith and our relationship with God. Listen in as we explore what makes God "Good"...

Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: The Cost of Discipleship

Jesus emphasized that being a disciple will require us to recognize the cost required and evaluate whether we will be able to stay the course. Being a disciple is one of those things in life that will be costly to us. The reason for this is because being a disciple of Christ is valuable. It is worth the pursuit. Listen in as we explore "The Cost of Discipleship"...

Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: A Choice Must Be Made
Have you ever had someone say or try to prove something to you, but you knew what's truly in their heart? You may know a habitual liar that always says they’ll change, but you know their heart. In our story today, Jesus knew the heart of the people & that they weren't sold-out believers. He knew they were simply listening to Him speak because of the miracles they saw. Listen in as we explore the confounding statement Jesus made that declares a "A Choice Must be Made"...

Jesus’ Most Confounding Statements: Confusing Words
Each of us have very likely reached a point in our life where we realize that not everyone will agree with us on everything. I’ve also realized that not everyone will understand what it is I’m doing or why I’m doing it. Sometimes God leads us to go or do something & oftentimes that makes no sense to our family or friends around us. What they often don't understand is that when God leads and directs your path then it sometimes won’t make sense from the world’s perspective. In fact, it often won’t! Listen in as we explore the "Confusing Words" found in one of Jesus' statements...
